OLVP Secondary School

Together with Tom Thys Architects, we are preparing the extension of a secondary school comprising 18 classrooms and educational facilities.

OLVP guiding principle

The new school infrastructure will create a hybrid learning ecosystem that combines a range of contemporary, high-quality education with a social space for learning and living.

  • In the new school wing, twenty flexible classrooms will accommodate around 500 pupils.
  • In addition, the new building will feature workspaces for teachers and administrative staff, as well as a dining hall with associated areas.
  • The circulation spaces within the new infrastructure will be inventive and multi-purpose in nature, enabling them to serve as an atrium, an open learning centre, a presentation area and a relaxation space during breaks.

After school hours, the classrooms will be available for creative and artistic disciplines, lectures, debates and guest lectures.

Outside, the project provides a green learning and relaxation environment, inspired by the local landscape, complemented by additional cycle racks and car parking facilities.
