As the coordinating and lead architect, we were involved in every stage of this process. We worked alongside all stakeholders to strike a balance between ambition and feasibility, design and context, the developer, the local authority and the neighbourhood.
The result is now complete: a new urban district with over 700 homes, public facilities and collective energy solutions tailored to the scale of the site.

Lake Side is Brussels’ largest residential and office development and has ambitious plans for the future. In a rapidly changing world that is also putting the construction sector to the test, this means not only designing (and, in due course, building) with the future in mind, but also strictly adhering to European regulations and expectations.
