Birgit is our brand new Flat Roof Specialist

After completing a 104-hour course with case and oral exam, our Birgit Depuydt may now call herself a specialist in flat roofs.

And of course we are very proud of this.

Birgit did her internship with us in 2022. After obtaining her Bachelor's degree in Applied Architecture at Thomas More Hogeschool, she chose to become a permanent member of our team.

Since then, she has accompanied our roofing specialist Freya Michiels, writing tender dossiers and closely monitoring the works.

Flat Roof Specialist

This training brings a thorough study of known materials and techniques for the construction of flat roofs.

The course participant gains a solid understanding of the theoretical foundations, standards, regulations and legislation relating to them. This understanding is reinforced by practical exercises, case studies, visits to manufacturers and work in progress.

The course is an initiative of ie-net in collaboration with Buildwise, Embuild and Bevad. Freya is one of the lecturers.
