20 of the 33 studios for refugees are ready for use!
A year ago, we asked our network to support our cycling sponsorship tour BB FOR. 35 people followed our lead. Together, we raised €35,400 for the non-profit organisation Het Werk der Daklozen.
Het Werk der Daklozen manages a building on Blindestraat in Antwerp that provides shelter to recognised single male refugees. In 2023, we carried out a (free) audit in that building in preparation for a thorough renovation. Based on the audit, the building was prepared to provide 33 men with a warm and comfortable home.
