Project Support I Collaboration

Construction of 89 housing units (houses and apartments).
Under the impetus of the province of Flemish Brabant new affordable housing units are built in the Flemish periphery of Brussels. As part of its land policy, the P.I.V.O. housing project is a pilot project for the province, with both social owner-occupied houses (1/3) and social rental housing (2/3), with an overall density of 25 housing units will be pursued.

Challenges
The homes will have to meet a number of quantitative and qualitative requirements, taking into account other policy issues of the province, such as environment, welfare and spatial planning.

Bureau Bouwtechniek is responsible for the complete construction-technical support of architect firm Tom Thiys architects from the tendering phase. BB is responsible for technical assistance during the design process, the layout of the implementation plans, the blueprint of constructional specifications and estimates. BB leads the monitoring of the implementation.
