Bureau Bouwtechniek shares up-to-date structural engineering knowledge through research, education and industry engagement, thereby enhancing the quality of construction practice.
Bureau Bouwtechniek is actively embedded within the Belgian construction sector’s knowledge network. Drawing on our expertise in technical architecture, sustainable renovation and building envelope optimisation, we contribute to the development and dissemination of up-to-date, practical structural engineering knowledge.
We participate in Buildwise’s technical working groups and contribute to the drafting of technical guidelines and information materials. Our experts are involved as lecturers at universities and colleges and share their insights within various learning networks. In addition, we support public authorities in the development of tools such as TOTEM and GRO, and we collaborate with sector organisations such as Embuild, De 5de Gevel and De 7de Gevel.
Through this structural collaboration with research, education and practice, we remain closely connected to developments within the construction sector. This interaction ensures that our knowledge is not only up to date, but also contributes to the further professionalisation of design and construction processes in Belgium.
