We are collaborating on the ambitious energetic renovation of a historical heritage building, helping to ensure its sustainable future as a modern educational building. One of the eye-catchers of this project is the large-scale 2400 m² photovoltaic roof, equipped with translucent solar panels. We are integrating this innovative roof design with a new landscape roof garden.
One of the biggest challenges in this project is coordinating the study and execution, as parts of the building remain in use during the renovation works. Through smart phasing and close cooperation with all parties involved, we ensure that activities on campus can continue undisturbed.
We worked out a well-thought-out fire safety concept and drew up a deviation dossier. We coordinated this file with the various study firms and architects, ensuring that the building met the necessary safety standards without compromising functionality or heritage value.
