Bert werd architect aan de KU Leuven – Sint-Lucas Brussel in 2004 en deed er aansluitend nog de master Landschaps- en Monumentenzorg bij. Hij werkte 10 jaar als restauratiearchitect voor architectenkantoor BOA/ ARTER. Bert werd BB'er in 2012 en maakt deel uit van Team Renovatie, Restauratie & Onderhoud.

Projecten met erfgoedwaarde en betekenisvolle, trefzekere architectuur naast de kracht van samenwerking vormen de kern van zijn dagelijkse drive naar meer.

Stephanie became an ir. arch. at Ghent University in 2014, majoring in architectural design and structural engineering. For one year, she worked as a scientific assistant. Still at UGent, she finished the course Damage Diagnosis and Repair of Concrete in 2018. Since 2015, Stephanie has been a BB'er and is part of Team Renovation, Restoration & Maintenance.

Being able to put people out of their misery at short notice with bite-sized advice is the challenge Stephanie faces with herself every day. Communicating correctly and pleasantly, making clear agreements and keeping the client clearly on board step by step makes good friends. Not the kind she wants to go out to the pub with, but completing a job on good terms is a job well done. Every exterior shell that passes through her renovation hands is ready for the future. Being able to say that and keep good friends from it too, il faut le faire.

Martijn became a structural engineer at the Katholieke Hogeschool St-Lieven in 2002. He also obtained a postgraduate degree in Bio-ecological building there in 2011. He holds certificates including Green Building Solutions (2011) from Summer University Vienna and Daylight Engineering (2012) from Danube University of Krems.

Martijn is a lecturer at KAHO Sint-Lieven (postgraduate Bio-ecological Building), a practice assistant and thesis supervisor at Ghent University and gives training courses on bioclimatic architecture for VIBE and Hogeschool PXL.

Since 2002, Martijn has mainly been a BB'er as a member of Team Sustainability, Energy & Comfort.

Martijn likes to put his colleagues on the right track. He does so by questioning trodden paths and initiating major behavioural changes with small interventions. If, by insisting on the importance of designing with daylight, he can have an impact on the end user's mental well-being, he is more than happy to do so. Martijn prefers to inspire his audience to dialogue, to challenge them to achieve a broader support base for better building in the future through shared experiences.

Robbe became a civil engineer-architect at UGent as well as a BB'er in 2014. He is a certified EPB advisor in Brussels. Robbe is part of Team Sustainability, Energy and Comfort.

Robbe likes to champion conservation. Of buildings, that is. In all other areas, he is particularly progressive and up-to-date. He loves advising design teams on the development of a sustainable, high-quality indoor climate. If he succeeds without too many technical installations, he is a satisfied man. Robbe likes to help think about tailor-made building physics solutions and rarely sends a colleague back from a wasted journey.

Glenn obtained a bachelor's degree in electricity (KdG Hogeschool, 2004) and has held an Autodesk Revit (C3A) certificate since 2013. He became a BB'er in 2004 where he is part of the Computer Aided Design & BIM Team.

Hanne had been swimming through many waters before she happened to join BB. For instance, she was once a cadre member at Chirojeugd Vlaanderen, a communication officer at the Karel de Grote Hogeschool and a volunteer at the Zomer Van Antwerpen. In 2015, Hanne became a full-time BB employee and helps shape Team Data & ICT.

Hanne's greatest motivation is to make her colleagues' lives easier so that they can focus on the essentials. We ask she runs. Hanne likes to get us started, but gets even more satisfaction when she can inspire us to finally put the record straight herself. She gets really wild when she gets to play in the data playground. There she bites into situations that at first glance seem unsolvable. A breakthrough then works wonders.
