Together with OVAM and SBE, we are proud to present the 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.
The handbook contains 14 fact sheets that support designers, contractors and managers in applying circular and future-oriented principles in infrastructure projects.
The fact sheets cover material types such as asphalt, concrete and wood, as well as structures for bridges, tunnels and locks, each with specific design guidelines on sustainability, adaptability and life-cycle thinking.

Jona Van Steenkiste took on the coordinating role. In collaboration with SBE and giraph, work was done on the content and visual design of the fact sheets. In this way, the experience we usually apply to construction projects was brought to a broader field of work.
The catalogue makes it clear that infrastructure projects also have a major impact on material flows. By embedding circular principles in these projects, an important step is being taken towards a material-conscious and resilient future.
