Thank you, Guy Lateur, for taking care of our IT affairs for 20 years.
In IT, 20 years is an eternity. We have gone from desktop PCs to tablets, from physical servers to virtual ones, and from on-premise applications to the cloud. Keeping up with these developments and implementing them securely is a constant challenge. The freedom I have in this role is the best motivation to keep going every day. I'm happy to stay on for another decade.
A physicist with a passion for IT, at home among servers, curious about everything that can be improved, quick to jump on anything new in the AI wonderland. And all that with a big heart for your colleagues. You don't judge. Not about what we shouldn't have done, not about our lack of knowledge about things you've already explained many times. Knowing that you never lose your patience makes us feel safe in your hands — no worries, we'll figure it out.
