Research & development I Circular building

As a strategy for smart resource management, circular construction includes valorising our present building stock. This research focuses on consultancy processes to facilitate high-value recovery of building elements

Through case studies it searches for levers and opportunities to enable preservation, reuse, remanufacturing, repurposing or (closed-loop) recycling of existing building components and materials. Facade renovations of large-scale office buildings are used as a test-environment to study these processes and collaborations.
