Stimulated by the province of Flemish Brabant, new affordable housing units are being realised in the Flemish periphery around Brussels.

Within the framework of its land policy, the P.I.V.O. housing project constitutes a pilot project for the province with both social housing for sale (1/3) and social housing for rent (2/3) whereby an overall density of 25 housing units/ha will be aimed for.

Challenges

The houses will have to meet a number of quantitative and qualitative requirements, taking into account the province's other policies such as environment, welfare and spatial planning.

As executive architects, we help the designing architects with all technical and financial issues so that they can fully focus on the design. We also monitor the implementation and ensure that the objectives and plan are always crystal clear for all partners, so that together we can realise our dreams.
