Re-use and extension of the old Strobbe printing house into an integrated leisure centre in Izegem. The public library, Art'IZ art academy and the city archives of Izegem are combined into a new cultural centre housed in the "Strobbe" printing house in the heart of Izegem.
BIM
For the Cultuurfabriek project in Izegem, Bureau Bouwtechniek modelled the BIM model in collaboration with Mouton. Bureau Bouwtechniek was responsible for the architectural aspect model and part of the existing situation model from phase tender onwards. In addition, BB took care of coordination between the partial models.
Bureau Bouwtechniek had the existing model measured on the basis of a point cloud and the existing situation drawn in 3D by an external party on the basis of this point cloud.
Bureau Bouwtechniek
BB is responsible for providing the architects with full technical support during the design process, the submission of the environmental permit, the drawing up of the implementation plans, the development of technical details, the drawing up of the building specifications and the estimate. BB supervises the execution and is EPB reporter.
